وَیْلٌ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِینَ المطففین [1]
Woe to those who give less [than due], Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [1]
الَّذِینَ إِذَا اکْتَالُوا عَلَى النَّاسِ یَسْتَوْفُونَ المطففین [2]
Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [2]
وَإِذَا کَالُوهُمْ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمْ یُخْسِرُونَ المطففین [3]
But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [3]
أَلَا یَظُنُّ أُولَٰئِکَ أَنَّهُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ المطففین [4]
Do they not think that they will be resurrected Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [4]
لِیَوْمٍ عَظِیمٍ المطففین [5]
For a tremendous Day - Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [5]
یَوْمَ یَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِینَ المطففین [6]
The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds? Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [6]
کَلَّا إِنَّ کِتَابَ الْفُجَّارِ لَفِی سِجِّینٍ المطففین [7]
No! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [7]
وَمَا أَدْرَاکَ مَا سِجِّینٌ المطففین [8]
And what can make you know what is sijjeen? Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [8]
کِتَابٌ مَّرْقُومٌ المطففین [9]
It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [9]
وَیْلٌ یَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُکَذِّبِینَ المطففین [10]
Woe, that Day, to the deniers, Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [10]
الَّذِینَ یُکَذِّبُونَ بِیَوْمِ الدِّینِ المطففین [11]
Who deny the Day of Recompense. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [11]
وَمَا یُکَذِّبُ بِهِ إِلَّا کُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِیمٍ المطففین [12]
And none deny it except every sinful transgressor. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [12]
إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَیْهِ آیَاتُنَا قَالَ أَسَاطِیرُ الْأَوَّلِینَ المطففین [13]
When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples." Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [13]
کَلَّا ۖ بَلْ ۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا کَانُوا یَکْسِبُونَ المطففین [14]
No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [14]
کَلَّا إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ یَوْمَئِذٍ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ المطففین [15]
No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [15]
ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُو الْجَحِیمِ المطففین [16]
Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [16]
ثُمَّ یُقَالُ هَٰذَا الَّذِی کُنتُم بِهِ تُکَذِّبُونَ المطففین [17]
Then it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny." Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [17]
کَلَّا إِنَّ کِتَابَ الْأَبْرَارِ لَفِی عِلِّیِّینَ المطففین [18]
No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in 'illiyyun. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [18]
وَمَا أَدْرَاکَ مَا عِلِّیُّونَ المطففین [19]
And what can make you know what is 'illiyyun? Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [19]
کِتَابٌ مَّرْقُومٌ المطففین [20]
It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [20]
یَشْهَدُهُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ المطففین [21]
Which is witnessed by those brought near [to Allah]. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [21]
إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِی نَعِیمٍ المطففین [22]
Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [22]
عَلَى الْأَرَائِکِ یَنظُرُونَ المطففین [23]
On adorned couches, observing. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [23]
تَعْرِفُ فِی وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَهَ النَّعِیمِ المطففین [24]
You will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [24]
یُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِیقٍ مَّخْتُومٍ المطففین [25]
They will be given to drink [pure] wine [which was] sealed. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [25]
خِتَامُهُ مِسْکٌ ۚ وَفِی ذَٰلِکَ فَلْیَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُونَ المطففین [26]
The last of it is musk. So for this let the competitors compete. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [26]
وَمِزَاجُهُ مِن تَسْنِیمٍ المطففین [27]
And its mixture is of Tasneem, Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [27]
عَیْنًا یَشْرَبُ بِهَا الْمُقَرَّبُونَ المطففین [28]
A spring from which those near [to Allah] drink. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [28]
إِنَّ الَّذِینَ أَجْرَمُوا کَانُوا مِنَ الَّذِینَ آمَنُوا یَضْحَکُونَ المطففین [29]
Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [29]
وَإِذَا مَرُّوا بِهِمْ یَتَغَامَزُونَ المطففین [30]
And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [30]
وَإِذَا انقَلَبُوا إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِمُ انقَلَبُوا فَکِهِینَ المطففین [31]
And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [31]
وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوا إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ لَضَالُّونَ المطففین [32]
And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost." Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [32]
وَمَا أُرْسِلُوا عَلَیْهِمْ حَافِظِینَ المطففین [33]
But they had not been sent as guardians over them. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [33]
فَالْیَوْمَ الَّذِینَ آمَنُوا مِنَ الْکُفَّارِ یَضْحَکُونَ المطففین [34]
So Today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers, Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [34]
عَلَى الْأَرَائِکِ یَنظُرُونَ المطففین [35]
On adorned couches, observing. Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [35]
هَلْ ثُوِّبَ الْکُفَّارُ مَا کَانُوا یَفْعَلُونَ المطففین [36]
Have the disbelievers [not] been rewarded [this Day] for what they used to do? Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud) [36]
